Sequence of training charts

This file contains charts which detail the sequence of training devised in August 1940 for RAF aircrew.

The Air Member for Training prepared a table to demonstrate the effort required to increase the output of pilots, in terms of hours per pupil, instructor and aircraft. There are further charts which illustrate the progression of training. A satirical list named ‘Ye book of rules for flying schools’, offers guidelines for pupils undergoing flying training. This file contains 16 papers.
