Hand embroidered coloured tapestry depicting the badges of No. 2, 4, 8, 29 46, 56, 72 Squadrons.
One of a series of tapestries embroidered by members of the Women's Royal Air Force in their free time as a tribute to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the RAF. The series was presented to the Royal Air Force Museum in October 1978. The No. 29 Squadron tapestry badge was created by Her Royal Highness Princess Alice, Duchess of Gloucester.
