Large rectangular wooden box with three manually adjusted switches on front marked SYNTONISER and COUPLING. Four circular bakelite connections marked A1, A2, A3 and E at top. Dynamo and key terminals on right side with a small hinged door at rear. Case is split in several places.

Pressed thin brass rectangular plate showing Lord Roberts of Kandahar centrally within an oval frame. At left the Royal Arms with oak leaves, at right a trophy of arms and the Union flag-with title inscription etc. Mounted in plastic coated wooden frame (splitting at joints).
