Approximately triangular leather holster formed from one piece of leather folded and sewn to form the pocket and another sewn to the back to form the flap. This latter fitted with a pierced strap which engages with a steel stud rivetted through the front face. A loop at rear to slide onto a waist belt narrower than a Sam Browne. This example having had a vertical pocket sewn to the front to carry a spare magazine, but now removed and the stitch holes only visible.

Brown leather pouch with straight top and rounded bottom, flap closure secured by brass stud. The mouth fitted with two small internal flaps to stop ammunition falling out. Rear fitted with two narrow buckled straps with retaining loops to fix to waist belt. Remains of brace attachment tab from which buckle has been carefully cut - probably contemporary modification.

Broad brown leather belt, with double pin, brass buckle, fitted with three brass D rings on its upper edge and two brass rings on its lower edge. To the left of the buckle is a running leather loop, a flat brass hook (broken) and a fixed, long-neck stud which engages in holes pierced in the right end. Metal work secured by decorative stitching and brass rivets. Behind the buckle is a flaired leather piece to protect the uniform fabric.
