Tan leather cap type helmet lined in khaki woollen fabric. Small ear flaps fitted with two pairs of press studs so as to allow the flaps to be rolled inwards to convert them into wind deflectors. The apertures covered by the flaps cut in a semi-circular shape to allow the wearer's ears to stick out through the sides of the helmet. Narrow leather chin strap with a single female press stud on left to engage with one of three male press studs on right. Condition - good and supple, the crown darkly stained and rubbed in places. One of the press studs on the right flap has failed and the lower chin strap fastening stud has disappeared. Displayable.
