A Bristol Blenheim Mk I, of No. 62 Squadron in flight. This photograph was taken whilst Arthur Stewart King Scarf was with No. 62 Squadron. As a pilot in 1941, Squadron Leader Scarf was the only member of the RAF to be awarded the Victoria Cross for service in East Asia during the Second World War.

This pennant was worn by an aircraft participating in an air show at RAF North Weald in 1954. It depicts the County Arms of London beside the Winged Sword of No. 601 (County of London) Squadron, Royal Auxiliary Air Force, whose Meteor fighters were resident at the base at the time.
