Long, pale brown leather coat, the front of double flap construction buttoning with five leather domed buttons on right side. Plain leather collar fitted with a tab on left and a button on right to keep it up and with pair of hooks and eyes atbase of neck for closure. Pair of flapped pockets below waist. Large, diagonal map pocket without flap on chest with opening on right. Cuffs fitted with long tabs and buttonse. Broad leather waist belt with leather-covered pin buckle, the holes reinforced with metal eyelets. Lined throughout in sateened cotton and provided with buttons for the fitting of a separate liner. Large internal chest pocket. Shoulders fitted with straps. Condition - very good overall.

Badge - on a patch of black melton cut to shape a crown above RFC within a wreath between two wings. Crown, letters and wings in off-white embroidery, wreath in brown.
