A pair of unlacquered, white alloy, oval frames holding yellow tinted Triplex windows, the frames spring-sided with silk surrounds and brown chenille padding and with window removal screws at sides. The link across the bridge of the nose formed by a piece of leather bound in cotton tape at the edges. Narrow, two-piece, adjustable, elastic head band with ring and hook fastener. CONDITION - fair, the silk fabric perishing, the head band perished, right frame slightly dented. Displayable, not on a figure, as an example of construction variations/shape etc.

A pair of unlacquered, white alloy, assymetrical pear-shaped frames holding Triplex windows, the frames spring-sided with silk surrounds and brown chenille padding. Head strap composed of sections of four-strand cotton covered spring strapping attached to the frame sides with leather and joined by an adjustable leather strap with buckle. The buckle is narrow and without pin, the end of the non-buckle strap is rolled and sewn so as to stop the strap passing through the buckle slots. No gold stamps at sides, but Patent and Design Registration numbers stamped into frames. CONDITION - all components very good and clean, but the silk perished and the frames in consequence detached from their edges.

Brown leather oval mask including nose cover retaining pear-shaped, assymetrical white alloy frames, on spring loaded, fabric-covered sides with clear windows, hinged on centre line. Gold lettering at right side: GOGGLE MASK MARK I THE TRIPLEX GOGGLE MASK & LENS CO. plus A above a line with arrow below. Lining very fine chamois leather, the edges of the frames covered in chenille padding. Brown elastic, adjustable head strap.
