Napkin Rings and Box

Hinged wooden box with lock mechanism (no key) lined in green velvet containing twelve napkin rings made from aircraft propeller, all hand painted with crowned RAF wings badge. The box lid also has the words "Souvenir de la France 1918" painted on.

Head of an 18pdr field gun cartridge case cut into a flower shape with each segment engraved with French WWI battle place names. One segment shaped for a finger and the centre primer used to take a candle stick.

Circular silver medallion. Obverse - in relief a female bust in headdress with a cockerel at her neck, REPVBLIQVE FRANCIASE around edge. Reverse - coat of arms with a cathedral either side, F.V. HALL 2 MAI 1917 within tablet surrounded by floral designs. Words VILLE DE DVNKEROVE around top edge. Case printed HOMMAGE DE LA VILLE DE DUNKERQUE Á FREDERICK VINCENT HALL FLIGHT SUB - LIEUTENANT 2 MAI 1917 in gold letters.

Large lacquered circular bronze medallion. Obverse - portrait of decorated French WWI ace in uniform with words CAPITAIN GEORGES GUYNEMER dates 1894 1917 either side. Reverse - winged female figure in flight holding a citation in French above, surrounded by four images of storks. Cased.
