The Air Ministry sent this priority telegram on 22 July 1944 to Leading Aircraftwoman Ellison of Rochdale, wife of Sergeant Harold Ellison. It provides notification of his death as a result of air operations. Sergeant Ellison was an Air Bomber on Avro Lancaster III ND681, which crashed on the night of 15/16 March 1944 during a mission to Stuttgart.
