Brown leather oval mask including nose cover retaining pear-shaped, assymetrical yellow alloy frames, on spring loaded, fabric-covered sides with yellow tinted windows, hinged on centre line. Gold lettering at right side: GOGGLE MASK MARK II THE TRIPLEX GOGGLE MASK & LENS CO. plus A above a line with arrow below. Lining fur, the edges of the frames covered in chenille padding. Grey striped elastic head strap. CONDITION POOR - the leather extremely dry, the frame hinge broken, left window cracked, the elastic head strap, possibly a replacement, very brittle. NOT DISPLAYABLE ON A FIGURE.

Two small pieces of white linen fabric painted blood red over light blue one side and stitched down the centre. Paint peeling off/cracking.

Port lower aileron from Sopwith Salamander ground-attack biplane, bearing traces of RAF roundel and doping scheme code. Note duplicated aileron controls to provide greater survivability against ground fire. Metal structure intact but fabric covering torn in places.

Small rectangular fragile fragment of linen fabric from Gotha biplane bomber with purple and green paint remains one side and inked "GOTHA S.960 shot down at Harty Point by Capt Haines, Date May 19th 1918 at 11.30pm".

Upper

Late style port upper mainplane for a S.E.5a to Drawing Number A17735. All metal fittings have been removed. Some of the nose ribs have been repaired using 3-ply inserts. The upper 3-ply cover missing from the wing root as are the filling pieces for the aileron.

"Fums Up" Nameboard

Rectangular piece of plywood hand painted with the words "FUMS UP! in white with blue border. Identical to X001-2588 in size and style, though in poorer condition; retains a few fixing pins along the bottom edge. Now framed together with other 'Fums Up!' Nameboard and 'child' artwork in one large glass-fronted wooden frame.
