Stiffened panel covered in white cotton fabric cut pointed at the inner end and straight at outer end which bears two stripes of normal width Service Dress gold lace. The buttonhole fitted with an RAF button plugged through. The underside lined in white cotton fabric and fitted with a narrow tape strap sewn at the outer end and provided with a press stud at the pointed end.

Small silver shields round the rim of the shield record presentation details for 1919 and 1961 - 1967 while an small plate above the escutcheon records the change of title to the Officers v Sergeants Mess Games Challenge Shield.

White alloy framed goggles with adjustable and articulated nose bridge piece, the eye pieces padded with rubber. Elastic head band. Contained in leather case with spare windows. Condition - extremely poor, the rubber completely perished, "self welded" and rehardened so that the goggles are encrusted into an inseparable mass.
