Small rectangular EPNS tray with handle at either end. Two crests at centre - Northamptonshire Regiment and RFC. Plus wedding date, January 14th 1918.

Stiffened panel covered in blue-grey whipcord cloth cut pointed at the inner end and straight at outer end which bears one stripe of normal width Service Dress gold lace with executive curl . The buttonhole fitted with an RAF button plugged through. The underside lined in blue-grey cotton fabric and fitted with a narrow tape strap sewn at the outer end and provided with a press stud at the pointed end.

Ordinary khaki, cotton handkerchief painted with a roundel in red, blue and white (red outer, white centre) with a black cat standing on the blue ring. Inscribed in black paint below "To Bill from Daddy 9th Sq'd'n. R.A.F. France. In the upper corner a mouse is drawn in pencil but not coloured in.
